ICMR-NIRRCH and MRC-KHS (PDC)CME
On 21 st June 2024, ICMR-NIRRCH and MRC-KHS (Centres of Product Development) conducted a CME (Continuous Medical Education) and stakeholder consultation to finalise “The Recommendations For Diagnosis And Multidisciplinary Management Of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome In The Indian Healthcare System”. the CME was conducted at Govardhan Eco Village in Wada, Palghar District. In attendance were, Dr Geetanjali Sachdeva, Director; Dr Anushree Patil, Scientist E; Dr Beena Joshi, Scientist F; Dr Deepti Tandon, Scientist C, Dr Ragini Kulkarni, Scientist F and Dr Nupoor Limaye, Senior Research Fellow from
NIRRCH and Dr Ashwinikumar Raut, Joint Head and Dir. Clinical Research and Ms Aditi Goyal, Research Fellow from MRC-KHS. The CME was attended by over 350 medical professionals from the Palghar district led by Dr Sandeep Choudhary, Palghar District Health Officer and Dr Ramdas Marad, Civil Surgeon Palghar District.
The CME was successfully conducted with an active and enthusiastic dialogue with the medical professionals and feedback was collected about the recommendations. In addition, the team also discussed the ‘Anemia Mukt Bharat’ program in detail, refining the protocol for the tribal and rural PHCs to administer them successfully. Furthermore, the gathering was also graced by Shri Gaurang Das Prabhu, ISKCON for a spiritual talk to conclude the day’s sessions.
